What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants, or tooth implants represent the highest standard of care in restoring your missing teeth. Think of dental implants like a prosthetic tooth root. It is made of medical grade titanium and is placed where your tooth roots would naturally sit.
Your natural bone then integrates with your implant, creating an extremely strong bond. Once the implant is healed, we have the option of placing a porcelain crown on top or we can actually clip a denture onto it!
Implants can replace one missing tooth, can be used to support a bridge (multiple teeth), or be used to stabilise dentures!

What is the process of getting dental implants?
Before: Patient has 2 molars missing on bottom right which will be replaced with 2 implants and a porcelain bridge
The titanium implants are placed as prosthetic tooth roots. They are left to heal for 4-6 months
A scan is taken and custom-made crowns attached to the implants. They look and function like natural teeth!
