Dr. Donna Chen

Hi I’m Donna. I come from New Zealand where I attended schools and attained my training from University of Otago in 1998, Dunedin (NZ) before working in various private practices in Auckland (NZ), Sydney and Tamworth. I moved to Tamworth in 2008 with my young family who now calls Tamworth their home.

For over 25 years, I enjoy providing various aspects of general dentistry with special interests in cosmetic replacement of old restorations, discoloured or misshaped teeth and uneven teeth. I am also passionate about restoring spaces from lost teeth or heavy tooth grinding with a long term view on restoring function, redesign/stabilize the bite, and improving smiles and self satisfaction through options such as bleaching, fillings, partial and full crowns, bridges, dentures and implant retained dentures.

I joined Marius Street Family Dental in 2023 and I am very appreciative of the practice’s commitment to Accreditation, support in professional continual education, and investments in latest materials and equipment.

In my spare time I serve as the family chauffeur to the 7- to 18-year-olds. I love cooking, baking, travelling and photography and look forward to a quiet time with a cup of tea and Tim Tams.
